Honda unveiled the Activa E and QC1, two of their eagerly anticipated electric scooters, on November 27, 2024. In the Indian two-wheeler industry, the Activa is already a well-known scooter, and customers are already taking notice of the electric model.

Additionally, Active E will have swap technology, which allows you to charge batteries by swimming them in a minute. The QC1 electric scooter also has a number of innovative features.

Thus, all of the specifications, features, and performance details for the recently introduced Honda Activa E and QC1 will be covered in this article.

Design and Looks

Honda Activa E

The Honda Activa E has a very sophisticated appearance that avoids being overly dramatic or aggressive. The most striking feature of the entire design is the chic LED lights on the front, which give it a very contemporary vibe. The rear light is also extended and put beneath the grab-rail, while the headlamps are positioned in the center of the front.

The Activa E’s body design uses a dual-tone color scheme, with black used for contrast in the handlebar, footboard, seats, and some parts in the back. The paintwork’s overall sheen is glossy rather than matte. Additionally, tires with diamond-cut metal finishes look more expensive.

A 7-inch TFT display on the dash offers all the information you need at a single glance. It has a Day and Night mode and can be paired with the Honda RoadSync Duo app.

Through the Honda RoadSync Duo app, you may access features including reverse mode, maintenance alerts, topple alerts, call and audio controls, navigation, live tracking, and smart keys.

Honda QC1

Because of its optimized frame structure, the QC1 stands out for its practicality even though it looks fairly similar to the Activa E overall. The floorboard or wheelbase is fairly roomy, and the seats are perfect for two people to ride together. Young individuals will be the primary audience for this electric scooter, especially given its style and eye-catching color scheme. A 26-liter boot compartment is also located beneath the seat.

A 5-inch LCD panel on the dashboard shows all the information that is required, but it isn’t as advanced as the one found in the Honda Activa E.

Both the Active E and QC1 have alloy wheels and an under-bone body structure. The QC1 can climb uphill at 7 degrees, while the Honda Activa E can grade 13 degrees. In addition to this gradeability specification, the Honda QC1 has more torque than the Activa E.

The Honda Activa E‘s Swap technology is its main selling point. For fully charged batteries, you can exchange your battery at your nearest Honda e-swap station. After that swap, you can start your next ride in a matter of minutes, and Honda stations also take care of battery maintenance. This type of servicing has the power to influence consumers to choose EVs for daily mobility.

There are three riding modes available for the Honda Activa E: Econ, standard, and sports. Each of the three is for various riding situations and feels. On the other hand, the Honda QC1 has just two modes: standard and econ.

Although the Honda QC1 may take more than 6 hours to fully charge, you may charge 80% of it in 4 hours and 30 minutes. The 330W off-board home charger allows you to charge from a 6A household power socket, and CAN-controlled auto-cut technology ensures both efficiency and safety. Additionally, the Honda QC1 features BP cell chemistry, which provides excellent energy density and prolongs battery life.

Warranty

For both the Activa E and QC1, Honda offers free first three services. Additionally, both have a warranty of 3 years or 50000 kms, whichever comes first. The battery, charger, and vehicle are all covered under the warranty.

Conclusion

Even if the Honda Activa E’s advanced features and the Honda QC1’s practicality may seem appealing, many people’s opinions and whether or not they purchase the product will be determined by the price point, once it is revealed.
