Gravton Quanta Electric Motorcycle Launched at 1.2 Lakh, Range 130km

Gravton Motors, an Indian EV manufacturer based in Hyderabad, recently unveiled the Gravton Quanta electric motorcycle. This electric motorcycle is authorized for commercial usage by ARAI and also becomes the first in India to employ an LMFP battery. Although practicality has always been a top priority for Gravton Motors, the Gravton Quanta will be the brand’s flagship model, so there will be plenty of interesting attributes in this one. Therefore, in order to provide a thorough explanation of the electric motorcycle, we will go over its performance, characteristics, range, and a few other elements in this article.

Design and Looks

The Gravton Quanta is a motorcycle, even though it may appear more like an electric scooter or moped. The absence of a fuel tank, which is not required in any EV, appears to be the only significant visual difference. However, that has the benefit of creating a lot of room on the floorboard for carrying objects. In addition, under the floorboard lies the battery.

This electric scooter features a sleek, little design that was primarily made for practicality because it is very roomy and has a comfy seat that can accommodate two riders. The wheel style and a few other design components, however, give the motorcycle a sporty feel in spite of all this functionality. Moreover, the paintwork in the body is also quite sporty.

The Gravton Quanta electric motorcycle measures 1070 mm in height, 735 mm in width, and 1945 mm in length. The ground clearance is 183 mm and the wheelbase is 1260 mm, both of which are decent.

Pricing

The ex-showroom price of Gravton Quanta electric motorcycle is 99,000 INR. However, as every state has a different tax structure, you should check with your local dealership to find out the exact on-road charges.

The Gravton Quanta electric motorcycle’s rib-caged trellis chassis demonstrates the body’s strength and ruggedness. Additionally, it can support a load of 250 kg, which includes the weight of the rider.

Three driving modes are available for you to choose from based on the conditions and your preferred driving experience. The mode you choose to drive will also affect the electric motorcycle’s range. Driving in Eco mode gives you the most range out of this bike, but if you want a sportier ride, you may switch to sports mode, but the range will be compromised.

It is not a true adventure bike, but its massive tires might be enough for some off-roading or adventure. When riding in sports mode, the tires also provide a good road grip. For safety, the CBS braking system is also available.

Features

Gravton Motors offers an app called the Gravton Smart App. Numerous essential services, including the GPS location of the vehicle, navigation, overspeed warnings, auto-reply to calls, and much more, are available through that app.

Conclusion

It is advantageous for the entire customer base to have more options in the Indian electric two-wheeler market. However, after it is made available to real people, many defects or features will become more apparent.
